OUR 2013 TEAm

PRESIDENT - ANGEL KOH

My main role is to work with the MADSOC executive team to plan the society's activities and events for the year. I help set the short-term and long-term goals for our team, and make sure that everything's on track and followed through. I also let members know what’s going on in MADSOC every week via our weekly newsletter.

VICE PRESIDENT - OLGA AXELROD

This role primarily involves assisting the president with their duties. Some examples of duties include event planning (such as delegating responsibilities among the executive), assisting with class management (booking rooms for classes and rehearsals, supervising classes, and signing-up new members) and responding to teacher and member queries.

SECRETARY - HELEN LIANG

As MADSOC's secretary, my main job is to make sure everything in the society is up to date, aka paperwork. This includes keeping the membership list and mailing list updated, taking meeting minutes and submitting required documents to Clubs & Societies. I also respond to general enquiry emails/messages and supervise classes. If you're a perfectionist, are on facebook and email 24/7 then this is the perfect role for you!

Treasurer - manage the club finances (ca$h money), budgeting for events and funding

Events Coordinator - plan and organise events, liaise with the treasurer (myself) about budgeting, run the event on the day, collect feedback

GENERAL EXECUTIVE - Amie Liebowitz

I do a mixture of things, my role is very flexible. I help out wherever is needed including with MADSOCs major performance. I've also been able to execute my own pet projects which allows me to contribute even further. If you like being a helping hand, diversity in tasks and contributing to different aspects of MADSOC, this role is definitely for you!

GENERAL EXECUTIVE - Jennifer Chew

As an exec in the greatest club on campus, I am able to contribute in all areas of MADSOC including admin, promotion, event/class coordination, member management, external relations and all that jazz. It is a great opportunity to learn and work in a tight team.
